Rebeca is based in Wagga Wagga but can work with anyone in Australia and has clients in most states. If it is not possible to meet in person Rebecca uses Microsoft Teams to meet with her clients virtually. I am currently with another accountant, how hard is it to change?

People change accountants for many different reasons, and it is an easy process. You will be asked to sign a records release authorisation which is sent to your previous accountant. If they have no ethical objection to you leaving them, they will forward a copy of your previous year’s financial statements, tax returns and permanent records to your new accountant.

What can I expect when I work with Rebecca as my accountant?

Rebecca is very easy to talk to and will explain your tax situation in plain English. As part of Rebecca’s service, she wants you to leave your appointment feeling confident that you understand how tax works and be able to have a good understanding of the contents of your financial statements and tax return and also why you have received a refund or have tax to pay. Generally, no, Rebecca is more than happy to have a chat about anything tax or business related throughout the year with her clients and this is included as part of her service. If the topic needs more in-depth research or explanation when it comes to your circumstances, Rebecca will give you an upfront quote for any work done.

What type of accounting software does Rebecca use?

Rebecca’s preferred accounting software is Xero. Rebecca is a Xero champion and uses Xero for her own business. Rebecca will personally set up and customise your Xero accounting file and show you how to use it to set you up for success. With over twenty years’ experience Rebecca has used many programs including MYOB Accountright, MYOB Essentials, Phoenix and Industry specific software. Rebecca is happy to work with your preferred program if required.
